Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: May 5, 2026

SherpasAI stores data from your connected Facebook Page(s) and Instagram Business account(s) so we can publish content on your behalf and report on its performance. You can request deletion of this data at any time using one of the methods below.

1. Disconnect from inside SherpasAI

Sign in to SherpasAI and go to Settings → Connected Accounts. Click Disconnect on any Facebook Page or Instagram Business account. We will revoke the access token with Meta and remove the stored credentials, post records, and cached insights for that connection within 7 days.

2. Email request

Send an email to support@vantagemethod.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request and include:

  • The email address associated with your SherpasAI account
  • The Facebook Page name(s) and/or Instagram username(s) you want removed
  • Whether you want to delete a specific connection or your entire SherpasAI account

We will confirm deletion within 30 days. For full account deletion, all profile data is removed within 30 days; connected social account credentials and cached data are removed within 7 days.

3. Revoke access from Meta

You can also remove SherpasAI’s access directly from Meta:

  • Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, find SherpasAI, and click Remove.
  • Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites, find SherpasAI, and click Remove.

When you revoke access from Meta, we are notified and remove the associated credentials, post records, and cached insights within 7 days.

What gets deleted

  • Facebook and Instagram access tokens we hold for the connection
  • Page and account identifiers (Page ID, Instagram Business Account ID)
  • Post records, captions, media references, and cached engagement metrics for that connection
  • Aggregated account-level insights cached for that connection (follower count, profile views)

Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle.
